Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater to our Christmas shoot! Each winter shoot is $65 main match, $45 for shotgun, rifle, and cavalry, and no office fees. Four of the five shoots will count towards the buckle. If you shoot all five, we will drop your lowest shoot points. Welcome to the Desperados first event of the 2026 mounted shooting year! This event is the first of a 4 event Buckle Series. There will be payouts after each of the four events plus Buckles for the high point (CMSA Points) Open & Limited, Cowgirl and Cowboy and limited & open Shotgun buckles with no gender split. The point totals of each person's best 3 out of the 4 events will determine the winners. Winners must compete in at least 3 out of the 4 shoots. Each single day event will offer 4 main match stages, a 2--stage shotgun competition. Costs: Ground Fee: $25; Main Match $100, Shotgun $50, with 50% payback all in class, there will be added $100 for overall and $50 for reserve. After we will be doing a Potluck Saturday evening. The club is sponsoring the main dish. Please bring you own beverages and side or desert to share. Followed by the year-end awards. We will be doing 2 random draws each day for a bag of feed. Also, a bag of feed goes to the person that helps the most. (Not office staff) Wrangler buckles are Sponsored by Martin Quarter horses. These are awarded to the top Open and Limited wrangler for the weekend. There will be Buckle holders for Limited Mens/Womens Express Mens/Womens (No Senior Split) and Open (No Gender or Senior Split). These are courtesy of Melanie and Jerad Meyer
